
Desa Markovic is a UKCP-registered systemic psychotherapist and supervisor, and a COSRT-accredited psychosexual therapist and supervisor. Over the past thirty years, her work has taken her across mental-health hospitals, psychosexual clinics and private practice, as well as into senior academic roles within several training institutes, including Relate, the Porterbrook Clinic in Sheffield and the Institute of Family Therapy in London.
In 2014 she was awarded a fellowship from the Sheffield Society for the Study of Sexuality and Relationships in recognition of her contribution to the field of sexology. She is also a Professor of Systemic Psychotherapy and served as Head of Psychotherapy Programmes at Regent’s University London from 2009 to 2020. Alongside clinical and academic work, she has published widely on psychotherapy, psychosexual therapy and ways of integrating the two.
Desa has extensive experience in designing and delivering workshops, therapeutic retreats and short courses across a range of themes related to wellbeing, resilience and personal development.
